Kustom Kulture Kountdown
There’s just one week to go until the ninth annual GreazeFest GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival slams into gear at Davies Park in West End (Aug 1, 2, 3).
Advance tickets are selling fast as greazers from all generations prep their engines and pomp their hairdos for their annual celebration.
A unique event on the Brisbane calendar, the GreazeFest features hundreds of hot rods and motorbikes, 19 live bands and djs, plus vintage markets, a Trailer Trash Tattoo caravan, a Low Brow Art Show, a Kitten Katwalk fashion parade and heaps more. The multi-faceted festival embraces hot rods, haircuts, rock’n’roll music, art culture, tattoos, jive and swing dancing, metal-flake paint jobs and retro fashions.
The final band line up includes: The Detonators, The Vaudevillains, The Flattrakkers, The Bone Rattlers, Checkered Fist, Pat Capocci Combo, Doug Wilshire & The Tailspinners, Bad Moon Company, West Texas Crude, The Nervous Wreckers, Men Into Space, The Ten Fours, Corn Liquor, Quick draw McGraws , Warren Earl & The Atomic Rockers, Miss Teresa & Her Rhythmaires, DJ Leapin’ Lawrie, DJs Limpin’ Jimmy & The Swingin’ Kitten, DJ Lori Lee.
