The Smokestack Orchestra are set to kick off the new year with a pair of blistering shows. After a cracking ’08 which saw the launch of debut album Salute Heavy Industry to rave reviews, the Orchestra plan to keep the pedal down in ’09 with more bonebreaking rock and roll. On Friday the 16^th of January the trio play the Troubadour with Ridgeback County and At Sea, and on Sunday the 25^th, Australia Day Eve, a show at the QUT Guild bar with Tasmania’s Enola Fall, Black Mustang, Rhiannon Hart and Linc le Fevre. Do it for your country!
