| One of Queensland’s best kept secrets – Gold Coast based blues and roots artist Mason Rack – is set to take on the world.
In July, Mason and his stellar band will be heading to Canada to take on the North American festival circuit. But before jetting off, Mason will perform a run of dates around South-East Queensland with the last being over the border at Brunswick Hotel at Brunswick Heads on Sunday 12 July. Mason has chalked up an impressive number of accolades in the past 18 months including the 2007 Queensland Songwriting Award for best Blues and Roots Artist, and has performed at a string of major events including the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival,The Woodford Folk Festival and personally invited to the Adelaide International Guitar Festival.
Mason has also received steady support from triple j, ABC local radio and 612 ABC Brisbane along with community radio across the country. His stunning new album Join Hands is out now.
