Coming up shortly is the sixth annual Tribute to Johnny Cash.
This special evening is being held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Step Inn in Fortitude Valley.
Guest Performers
Reforming for the tribute will be The Mean Eyed Cats a talented collection of Brisbane rockabillies including Dangerous Dan (guitar), Mark Stephens (drums) and Jon Flynn (bass).
The Mean Eyed Cats will back up a star line up of guest vocalists to perform Johnny Cash tunes, including:
Kate (Texas Tea)
Steve Grady
Pony (The Ten Fours)
Pete (Corn Liquor)
Andy (West Texas Crude)
Paulie (Crazy Rhythm Boys)
Warren (Atomic Rockers)
Miss Teresa (Rhythmaires)

DJ Lori Lee will be playing a broad choice of recordings from all eras of Johnny Cash’s distinguished career.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Johnny Cash Tributes have a habit of selling out, it is recommend to get your tickets in advance.
