About Music By The Sea

Music By The Sea concerts began in 1997 and expanded with Music By The Sea Festivals in 2002, successfully bringing fine music to the northern suburbs of Brisbane. The concerts presented are Classical, Folk, Jazz, Popular and World music. The superb acoustics of the Sandgate Town hall enable us to have quality concerts ranging from solo recitals to orchestras to large choirs.

Location

The venue for the concerts is the Sandgate Town Hall, situated in the middle of the beautiful, historical seaside suburb of Sandgate. It can easily be accessed by a half hour Train or Bus ride from the city centre, with a 2 minute walk from the station to the venue. If driving, ample parking is available nearby. The other venues, the Community Centre is 5 minute walk from the Town Hall and the library is next door to Town hall.

Check www.musicbythesea.com.au for updates. The program is subject to change.
