GRINSPOON's PHIL JAMIESON + PAT DAVERN: Exclusive ACOUTIC set
(Wednesday, 27 January 2010) Written by Bec
It took a musical adventure spanning four continents for Grinspoon to find the key to shaking up the Australian music scene.  Their epic quest to find rock’s holy grail eventually led them home to make their best album of their 14 year career, cementing their position at the helm of the local rock scene.

The band’s history speaks for itself.  They have traveled light years from 1995, when they claimed Triple J’s inaugural Unearthed competition.  From Canada to Spain, Amsterdam and Singapore, Six to Midnight, Grinspoon’s new album, now find a home in Australia’s on Grinspoon’s new imprint, Chk Chk Boom records.   It’s an exciting new era for the band whose endurance is as much to do with their immense talent as their sheer determination.

For a truly unique performance, Phil Jamieson and Pat Davern will be performing a once in a lifetime ACOUSTIC gig on Sunday, 7th February at Never Land Bar
