The Beards are coming to town!  Fresh from headlining the world beard day in Adelaide last weekend, this bearded four-piece folk rock band will continue their mission of preaching about the virtues of having a beard by playing at intimate show at The Loft on Chevron Island (Gold Coast) on Saturday 11th September!

The Beards will sing crowd favourites like Growing a Beard, Beard Revolution, No Beard No Good and If Your Dad Doesn't Have a Beard, You've Got Two Mums. The beardless members of the crowd may find themselves singled out and chastised for their lack of facial hair, while those with beards may be brought onstage as an example of what having a beard is all about. But as hilarious as this oddball outfit are, they can be equally appreciated for their music.

Formed in 2005, The Beards have gained a rapidly expanding cult following in Adelaide, and the advent of networking technology has seen The Beards gain a strong interstate and global fan-base.

Supporting them on the night will be local indie rock bands Dogtags and the Oceanics.
