| Cause in Affect will release their debut album "Hollow Fascinations" this Friday night, (10th Sept) with a show, supporting heavyweights "Thousand Needles In Red" at the Stepp Inn. The band have been playing and writing together for 3 years, and most notably to date, were Brisbane runners up in the Emergenza band competition for 09. The band are drawn together with the chemistry between brothers Nick and Chris Skinn who form the nucleus of the band, and have been writing music together since a young age. The funk-like bass style of Elliot Kerry, AKA E-Man, and dynamic vocals of Josh Jameson make up the CIA sound. 'Hollow Fascinations' is a 12 track hard hitting, hard rock album recorded in May 2010 at Tall Poppy Studios, self produced with the help of Nathan Woodrow and Gareth David, who worked extensively on the project. The band plan to play an album launch show in the coming months although have made the album available as of friday the 10th Sept. The band is now signed to indie label Tall Poppy Records and will shortly have national international publishing and distribution.
