The jury is in and now its official – live music is the new black. So Hotel Urban Brisbane is right on trend with their live music gigs every Friday night at signature bar and restaurant, Gazebo.

Centrally located in the bustling inner-city hub of Spring Hill, every Friday from 5 – 8 pm Gazebo will play stage to some of Queensland’s most talented musicians as they entertain patrons and guests.

Dine in with friends or just snack from the bar menu, unwind after work with an ice cold beverage or wind up for a night out on the town – with free entry it’s the perfect excuse to stroll straight on in after your busy Friday and start celebrating the weekend.

The new line up for the beginning of 2012 features some of Brisbane’s most exciting up and comers, as well as some old favourites. Performers Nick & Sal are back by popular demand, serenading audiences with their soothing, cool tones and classic covers. Nat Dunn is also returning to Gazebo and will no doubt be showing off her new flare for electronic pop music, mixed in with some laid back soul. New to the program is pop, groove and R‘n’B specialist Simon Watson who is sure to inject the crowd with energy and charisma with his unique originals and popular covers. And last but not least, leading jazz vocalist Ingrid James joins the fray. With a voice that has been described like chocolate – rich, dark and smooth – Ingrid will lock listeners in a time capsule, transporting them back to the sultry, sexy era of jazz.
