The Autumn Sun shines on Brisbane
|
| Written by Jana |
| Former Sunshine Coast act Autumn Sun have decided to pack their beach bags and head to the big smoke. After spending a lot of their time travelling to gigs in Bris, the act decided the move would be a good chance to gain a wider audience and to save the environment ( and their pockets) by doing a little less driving to and from shows. Autumn Sun combine coastal chill with laid back jazzy pop and are looking forward to giving Brisbanites a taste of their ‘Sunday arvo’ sounds. With plenty of local shows lined up for the coming months, there will be heaps of opportunities to get out and have a listen. Their first show as locals will take place at The Red Room, UQ St Lucia on Tues 13th May. Doors open at 7pm and with good beer and good tunes, why wouldn't you go! Following this they will be at Kitty O'Shea's on Caxton St, Paddington on Thurs 15th May from 7pm. And if you think they’d forgotten about their coastal roots, think again! Autumn Sun will back up on Friday 30th May supporting The Dan Acfield Band at the Upfront Club on Maple St, Maleny from 7pm. So get out a welcome Brisbane’s newest residents.
