Stealing Jane Music Video “Outside” Debuts on Koldcast TV
(Tuesday, 08 July 2008) Written by Jordyn K Borczon

Glen Cove, NY (July 3, 2008)-- Indie rock band Stealing Jane announced today that they will be premiering their music video for the single “Outside” off their EP “Say Something” on Koldcast TV (www.koldcast.tv) Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 8:00 PM ET.  Shot over three days at Simsbury High School track in Simsbury, Connecticut and directed by Matthew Thompson of Guy Manly Movies, the video will follow the break up of a boy and a girl as they race through their past.

This will be the first music video for Stealing Jane and it is highly anticipated by their fans.  Saxophonist Pat Iannelli says, “Shooting this video was awesome, our director Matt and his crew were a lot of fun to work with. The weather was perfect, the location was great, and we were fortunate enough to have fans that would wake up as early as we did to come down and be a part of the video with us. We are extremely grateful, and blessed to have this opportunity to work with so many talented and passionate people from the actors to the director. We can’t wait to see what everyone thinks of our first music video!”

Matthew Thompson directed his first music video for Lucy Grace in August of 2007, and since then he has also worked with Lannen Fall, Jukebox the Ghost, The Strangelings, and now Stealing Jane. Matthew was awarded Best Music Video for Lucy Grace “Chou Chou” and Best Short Film for “My Last Cigarette” at the 2008 Suffolk Rammy’s.

Stealing Jane chose to exclusively premiere the music video on Koldcast TV- the future of Internet-served television.  Koldcast TV is a new form of entertainment where videos and content are incubated, featured, and introduced in new ways.  The site uses leading-edge technology to bring viewers the next generation television network, a multi-network, multi-channel entertainment venue delivering largely free entertainment on demand, 24/7 via broadband.

Stealing Jane consists of: Bryce Larsen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Matt Giordano (lead guitar), Brian Bunce (bass), Pat Iannelli (saxophone), Dave Calzone (trombone), Will Tully (drums), Andrew Mericle (trumpet) and Jesse Sears (keyboard).

About Stealing Jane:

In an industry where very few bands that “make it” are original, Stealing Jane has blended various genres of music to create tunes that gratify every inch of the ear.   Over the past year and a half, Stealing Jane has managed to grab the attention of the fickle independent music scene with a genre-defying harmony of rock, pop, and R&B music.  Although their music can also be classified as pop rock, Stealing Jane’s sound can best be described as “groove rock,” serving up a fresh new sound that people like to move along to when listening.  Stealing Jane has shared the stage with many well known artists such as: One Republic, Lifehouse, Spin Doctors, Hanson, Tower of Power, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Crash Romeo, and The Killing Moon to name a few.  They pride themselves on their dedicated and loyal street team that boasts members from across the United States and beyond.  Stealing Jane is a band that is on its way to the top.  They have created a sound that is unique to the music industry today, and their hard work is paying off.
