Following on from the success of last years expansive mind-warping compilation Light Sound Dance, The Bang Gang Deejays (aka Jaime Doom, Gus Da Hoodrat, Ajax, Dangerous Dan, DJ Damage and Double Nolan) return this October to celebrate their 5 year anniversary with the release of a new 2 disc compilation – D is for Disco, E is for Dancing available October 25. ..... And what’s the Bang Gang without a darn-tooting throwdown? To celebrate the release of the colossal compilation, a nineteen-date national launch tour will see the boys traverse endless dimensions of dance and bring everyone and their sister along for the trip. D is for Disco, E is for Dancing follows on like the younger, more talented sibling introducing a whole new level of trance travel for The Bang Gang Deejays. Split over 2 discs D is for Disco is the more playful, eclectic of the two, equally suited for play in your cafe to accompany your piccolo latte or perfect for a session of qualudes on the couch, while E is for Dancing is the more focused, darker, nasty little bitch created with the sole purpose of more serious, shirts off, hedonistic virgin sacrifice-style partying. Highlight additions to the new mix compilation include club jams from Tecteel, Bangers and Cash, Yuksek, Late of the Pier, Holy Ghost!, Siriusumo, Underworld, MIA, Digitalism, Etienne De Crecy, Boys Noize, Kid Cudi + remixes from Mr Ozio, Riton, Switch, A-trak, Laidback Luke, Crookers & more. Whether a mellower shade of daytime disco is your thing, or a harder, darker style of night music is your dance dose D is for Disco, E is for Dancing is shaping up to be the only collection of modern day acid jazz worth your salt this summer. Bang Gang Deejays hit elsewhere on Friday, 7th November. Tickets available NOW – www.moshtix.com.au
