Local alternative pub rock band Don’t Tempt Thieves are ready to convince fans and cynics that 2010 will be the start of something big.

The band’s first show for the year is at the Live, Loud & Local! session at the Hard Rock Cafe in Surfers Paradise on January 29.

Lead singer Matt Mulquin is pumped for the show, hoping to give locals and fans an experience they won’t forget.

“We really pride ourselves on being different and bringing a dynamic display of energy to the table that most bands won’t bring.”

Don’t Tempt Thieves, Hazel Eyes and If I Lie play at the Hard Rock Cafe in Surfers Paradise on January 29. Tickets are $10.
