- Friday Jul 18 sees Battle City 7 under the Turbot Street Overpass. Featuring Australia’s top B Boys and B Girls, teams of four will be battling for a $5000 cash prize. DJ Bacon returns alongside Danny Cool and recent Australia’s Got Talent finalists Shift-1, while the event is hosted by Hiatus Crew emcees Sammie D and Doesa, with local hip hoppers Impossible Odds bringing the tunes.
- The Turbot Street Party is on again, and this year the ‘under the overpass’ event features Halfkast & The Grand Audio Family, The Kidney Thieves, Sunflower, Don’t Come Monday, Swipe Inc, plus roving performers, free rides, art installation, burlesque, fairy floss, snow cones…well you get the idea! This all ages, free show kicks off at 5pm Saturday Jul 19.
