- Don’t forget that three of Brisbane’s finest female musicians are set to debut new material at the Step Inn on Jul 24, with Deb Suckling (Brindle/Peachfish) introducing Lucky Star Satellite, Emma Carton (Flying Chimnees) presenting J-Pan Fan, and Rhiannon Hart (Gorgonzola) going solo.
- Ex-kt26er/Wülvs man Dave Ross’s new act White Mansions (featuring members of New Jack Rubys and Screamfeeder) play a special show at The Troubadour on Friday Aug 1, showcasing new songs and launching a ‘new media’ single (apparently on a format never used before). Support comes from The Habit and Young Liberals, with money raised on the night going towards the completion of White Mansions’ debut album.
