- Stringmansassy bring to an end their successful musical union this week with shows at the Roundhouse Theatre (Kelvin Grove) on Friday and Saturday. The duo of Kacey Patrick and Aaron Hopper will then release their final body of recorded work, entitled Stringmansassy: The Live Experience 2000-2008. - Singaporean acoustic artist (and YouTube favourite) Ling Kai marks her Australian live debut with a show at the Queen Street Mall on Friday at 4pm.
- The Queensland Orchestra is set to mix psych-rock and classical when they perform symphonic versions of Pink Floyd songs at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on Friday. Following on from last years successful Queen tribute, expect to hear songs like Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here and Another Brick In The Wall performed with full orchestral grandeur.
