Gympie Muster Threatens To Move PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 15 July 2008

Ordered to pay $30,000 by the QLD government for emergency services cover, the Gympie Muster has threatened to move to Byron Bay next year. Each August, the Muster draws 70,000 to the Amamoor Creek State Forest Park, 20% of whom come from interstate. Event coordinator Brian Sansom says that the new cost would put a dent in the $100,000 that the event raises for local charity.
