- In news that made the taller members of the office squeal like girls, the Gruff Rhys (of Super Furry Animals fame) and Boom Bip (Paul Banks of Interpol’s blippy pal) collective known as Neon Neon (pictured) have been added to the Parklife bill! Other new additions include Fake Blood, The Bamboos featuring Kylie Auldist, Snob Scrilla, Hawnay Troof, Ajax, and Miami Horror. With Goldfrapp, Soulwax and Dizzee Rascal on the bill it’s an event you won’t want to miss when it goes down at the Riverstage on Saturday Oct 4.
- Lost Highway recording artist Ryan Bingham will support Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson on their Rattlin’ Bones tour, stopping by the QPAC Concert Hall Sunday Aug 17.
- Local troubadour Andrew Morris will support Mark Kozelek when he spends a very intimate evening at The Troubadour on Thursday Jul 24.
