The Internalists play the NeverMindSplendour - Nirvana Tribute Night at the Globe
Friday, 18 July 2008
Local lad John Meyer has been a busy boy of late. He’s just finished recording his debut EP, and has been playing all over town in various guises. Next Friday 25 July sees him plying his trade solo at city venue La Plaz from 5pm, then Thursday 31 July he’ll be bashing out some tunes with dark folk ensemble the Good Ship at Kitty O’Sheas on Caxton, then its time to rock out with the Internalists the following night, Friday 1 August, as the band takes part in the massive Nirvana tribute night at the Globe. Joining the Internalists to pay homage to the greats of grunge is a stellar lineup of bands including Sonic Porno, the Wreckers, the All Star Angst and Smells Like Kent Street.
