Death Cab For Cutie band member, solo artist and indie uber-producer Chris Walla is a fan of Brisbane duo An Horse (pictured, featuring Kate Iron On) it seems, telling website The Vine “I saw them play with Tegan & Sara in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, and it’s going to be great to have them on the tour,” (An Horse play the sold-out Death Cab Tivoli show on Aug 22, with a new EP planned for Feb ’09). It seems Iron On side-project duos are all the rage currently, with buzz also building for the CD launch of bassist Ian’s No Anchor project at Red Hill’s The Hangar on Aug 8.
