- Club Blink continues its Friday night residency at Club 299 – this week there’s a pre-release party for the new Slipknot album. Head to www.clubblink.net to hook into some giveaways and prizes.
- The Surfers Paradise’s Clock Hotel returns to hosting the frequent Streetkid events, with Saturday featuring noisy popsters The Gallery Kiss. They’ll be hoping to make up for lost time after their guitarist broke his hand – forcing them to pull out of the Kickstart Competition finals.

- Locals Mary Trembles play in support of Mondo Generator at The Arena this Sunday before supporting West Australian’s Jebediah at The Zoo on Saturday Sep 6. Both shows provide a good warm up for their Borrowed Ears, Borrowed Eyes launch show at The Troubadour on Friday Sep 19.
