Avril Lavigne’s (pictured) revised Kuala Lumpur show for Friday has been postponed ‘as it clashes with the National Day celebrations’ according to Malaysian Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Mohammed Shafie. Not because ‘the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party Youth Council’s called earlier this month to ban the show because Lavigne is a bad influence on the youth’. Either way, Lavigne will have to tone down her act to appease local authorities, as female performers ‘must perform covered from neck to knees, there cannot be any drug references or obscene language, and kissing and jumping is also banned onstage.’ Lets go party Malaysian style!
