Lily Allen (pictured) wins the award for ‘derr, ya think’ this week after her bafflingly obvious statement to Paper Magazine: “I just know I’m not a good person on drugs.” The comment comes after Allen attempted to punch a passer-by when leaving a London nightclub last Tuesday, Aug 19. In other Allen news, she seems rather lost as to EMI’s constant delays in releasing the follow-up to her 2006 album Alright, Still. Commenting on her MySpace page Allen said: “It has been finished for a while now, I don’t really know what’s going on with it. The record industry is a very political place at the moment and I am on EMI Records. Lots of people have been fired or have taken redundancy recently as the company was taken over by a private equity firm called Terra Firma.”
