Hi! My name is Jade Greenwood Turner and I am a contestant in the Miss World competition. The charity I have chosen to raise funds for is Youngcare - a charity that aims to provide a dignified and age appropriate lifestyle for young people with physical disabilities.

In contribution to this cause I have organised a charity gig on the 3/10/08 at the Globe Theatre. I have been lucky enough to secure two of Brisbane's great young bands The Frets and A Year to Remember along with my band Regarding Belle.

All the proceeds from the night will be donated to Youngcare and I am hoping to get as much publicity as possible so as to ensure the night is a success and I am able to raise as much money as possible! Is there any way I could feature in a story with your newspaper, or alternatively perhaps you might be able to include it in your gig listing along with some promo for the event?
