You might think that Idle Cranes vocalist Jon Weber would have a full calendar with frequent gigging, recording an EP, and all the rest of it. Not so. Somewhat of a Renaissance man, Weber has found the time to put together an art show, opening this Wednesday at Ric’s Bar and heralded by an Idle Cranes performance. As you might imagine, the works themselves are an updated take on psychedelia, an atmosphere that suits a Cranes show very nicely. They are supported by Ric’s stalwarts Deux Garcons, with Dorsia on the decks.
