The UK’s War Child charity have announced a new compilation called Heroes, in which artists like Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Brian Wilson and The Clash select ‘new’ artists to cover one of their songs. Some of the tracks include Duffy covering Live & Let Die, Hot Chip (pictured) covering Joy Division’s Transmission, and The Kooks performing The Kinks’ Victoria. The album, with original cover artwork from the Stone Roses’ John Squire, will be released Nov 22 on EMI.
