Buoyed by a successful reunion tour and curation of the UK All Tomorrows Parties, Kevin Shields and My Bloody Valentine (pictured) are again working on a new album. Returning to tapes from aborted sessions following the release of their landmark album Loveless, Shields explained to the New York Times, I realised that all that stuff I was doing in 1996 and 1997 was a lot better than I thought. He hopes to begin recording with the band later this year.
