The Travelling So-and-So's added to the 'All Hands On Deck' lineup at The Zoo on October 11th PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 01 October 2008

As the 'All Hands on Deck' Red Cross charity tour makes its way to The Zoo next Saturday October 11th, the already diverse lineup featuring Brisbane favorites Repeat Offender and Tim Loydell & The Deck Chairs will now be joined by the charismatic rhythm and beat of local up-and-comers, The Travelling So-and-So's.

Blending energetic indie rock with psychedelic party pop, The Travelling So-and-So’s unpredictable and energetic live sets are marked by smoking hot sax, strapping guitar, simmering vocals and stirring beats.

Having recently been invited to attend the QMusic emerging artists industry workshops on a last minute 'wild card' entry following an unforgettable performance as part of the Valley Markets Busking Competition, and offered a place on the lineup of Brisbane City Romp, 2high Festival, Icon Creative Summit Festival and Stockland Festival Lakeside, it is set to be an exciting end of year for The Travelling So-and-So's as they continue to secure their reputation as one of the more promising up-and-coming acts the Brisbane local scene has to offer.

Although the members of this unique outfit are barely out of their teens, don’t let their innocent young faces fool you. The Travelling So-and-So’s are an act not to be missed!

Be sure to catch The Traveling So & So’s at The Zoo on October 11, 2008, as part of the ‘All Hands On Deck’ charity tour.
