Post-metallers Pelican’s European tour hit a severe stroke of bad luck this week as the band’s van got broken into in Rome and several thousands of dollars worth of electronic equipment and recording devices containing ‘hours of new song ideas’ was stolen as well as the bandmembers’ passports and wallets. The incident puts the band in a ‘very compromised financial position’ and they have set up a PayPal account at for those keen to help out.
