Arguably Bananrama’s finest hour – 1983’s Karate Kid smash Cruel Summer – has seemingly been the inspiration for Destroy All Lines’ announcement of it’s Boys Of Summer line-up, cruising the streets this January. Featuring Carpathian (pictured), Comeback Kid, Verse and Against, the band(s) of merrymakers stop into Toowoomba’s Empire Theatre Wednesday Jan 14; UQ’s Red Room Thursday Jan 15; Nambour Civic Centre Friday Jan 16 and the Albert Waterways Community Centre Saturday Jan 17. All shows are all ages, with tickets available from the regular outlets Friday Oct 17.
