Torquay based artist Mia Dyson (pictured) is preparing to relocate to the USA for the better part of 2009, taking her haunting vocals and deft guitar-playing with her. As a fitting send-off, and to remind Australian audiences what they’ll be missing, Dyson is teaming up with Jen Cloher & The Endless Sea on one final east coast outing. Kicking off at The Judith Wright Centre Thursday Feb 26, 2009 before moving onto Joe’s Waterhole Friday Feb 27, 2009; Mullumbimby’s Civic Hall Saturday Feb 28, 2009; and Currumbin’s Sound Lounge Sunday Mar 1, 2009.
