In one of their odder couplings, Canadians Black Mountain (pictured) once created a split 7-inch with part-time New Pornographer and creative gem Destroyer (Dan Bejar). Psych-freak outs  + pop-freak outs = J at the Rave Office. Bejar may never come out here, but the aural delights for quintet Black Mountain are on display at The Zoo come Tuesday Mar 3, 2009 (yes, the same day as Mogwai). Tickets for Black Mountain are on sale now through all regular outlets for $49+bf.
