Eight years ago Amanda Palmer (pictured) first visited Australia and performed on Rundle Mall in Perth as a living statue. Now, presuming you don’t like her old stuff better than her new stuff, you’ll be pleased to hear the Dresden Dolls vocalist and pianist is touring Australia in March. Teaming up with The Danger Ensemble (a deadly cocktail of prescription medication, dry martinis and heavy machinery perhaps?), Ms Palmer and her five collaborators play with special guests Lyndon Chester and Zoe Keating at The Tivoli Mar 1. Tickets go on sale Jan 23 through www.ticketek.com.au, pricing TBA.
