- Test your knowledge of music trivia on Wednesday, when The Alibi Room puts on their annual Rock Trivia Night. Once again it will be emceed by Alana Skyring (AKA the drummer from The Grates) and the proceeds will be going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Up for grabs are various vouchers and prize packs, a $100 bar tab at The Alibi Room and even a couple of Big Day Out tickets to be raffled off on the night. Get there at 6pm to register and help out a good cause.
- Biff Co. headline at The Zoo on Wednesday with support coming from The Cairos and Hunz. Tickets are $8.
- Drawn From Bees will be bringing you splendid, earthly delights when they emerge from recording to play with the highly endearing Ball Park Music at Ric’s this Thursday. The lads will be offering punters the chance to purchase drinks for them on the night, so get along and make the most of this opportunity. Bands begin at 8ish.
- Byron Bay rockers Very Unique Experience play at the Cabarita Sports Club this Friday, providing three hours of good-time tunes between 8pm and 11pm for the very agreeable price of zero dollars.
- Prepare to wave your lighter in memory of Dimebag Darrell. The Globe is hosting The Pantera Show From Hell – a night of classic covers and headbanging – on Saturday. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are $15.00+bf.
- The Good Ship have mouths so filthy anyone would think they were sailors. You can hear their ribald ballads for yourself at Ric’s on Saturday. Entry is free.
