ImageWith three decades of music-making and 32 hits in the UK top 40, The Stranglers (pictured) are something of an institution. The current four-piece line-up, with original members Jet Black on drums, Jean-Jacques Burnel on bass and Dave Greenfield on keyboards, along with Baz Warne who joined the group as vocalist in 2001, will be playing as many of those hits as is physically possible at The Tivoli on Wednesday Mar 11.

Caught the stranglers by sheer chance last month playing support for the pogues. They blew the pogues off the stage, and I'm a pogues fan. Don't miss it people.

agree with gman. the whole h.c. thing is very old hat. the band were primarily known for the keyboards and bass, and the top men are still groovin. me and the team will be there with bells on. :zzz
