Gothy rockers The Church always had a prog side, which they’re showing on their latest project – a soundtrack for a book. The Church have recorded a new album that acts as a soundtrack for Jeff VanderMeer’s urban fantasy novel Shriek: An Afterword. The album, described as dark and atmospheric with lyrics taken from the text of the book, will be available from their website (www.thechurchband.com) or direct from the band at their shows.
