  • In a first for the East Coast Bluesfest, Ben Harper and John Butler have helped guest program the line-ups prior to their respective headline slots. Harper hand-picked Grace Woodroofe, Tom Freund, Tinariwen, and AYO to play before him on Saturday Apr 11, while Butler chose Paul Kelly, Blue King Brown, Saltwater Band featuring Geoffrey Gurrumul, State Radio, Jeff Lang, Ngaiire, and Nicky Bomba to warm-up for him on Sunday Apr 12.
  • Celeb groupies ahoy, looks like Kate Moss will accompany fiancé Jamie Hince to Australia when The Kills play V Fest.
  • Due to the bushfire crisis, radio stations have dropped tracks such as Jessica Mauboy’s Burn, Kings Of Leon’s Sex On Fire, Cold Chisel’s Flame Trees and INXS’s Burn For You from their playlists.
