Monday, 23 February 2009
MusoWiki is the latest gadget to hit the online airwaves to help musicians navigate the ever expanding and increasingly complicated super highway of Internet marketing.  Launched in 2007, musowiki.net has already had more than 30,000 hits and boasts 750+ entries.

Musowiki is the one-stop shop for musicians, performers and organisations in the entertainment industry searching for tools to promote themselves, and to find the best companies and individuals to help them achieve their dreams.

This site was created and is maintained by Hugh Brown whilst finishing is PHD in Creative Industries at Queensland University of Technology, Australia.  Hugh is also the author of “Independent Musician’s Roadmap”, a free online resource full of tools a musician can’t do without to navigate the music industry.

Musowiki is built on the popular Wikipedia software and this site’s global reach allows anyone from anywhere to add their own information to the database, as well as search for musicians and services in their area.  The website is broken up into categories and is really easy to navigate.  It also provides a facility to recommend particular services so you can check out the testimonials before you buy.

All information, images and pages have been supplied freely for anyone to investigate and for musicians looking to progress their career, this is one website they must check out.

www.musowiki.net is where all this great information is stored and it’s absolutely free, user friendly and completely collaborative.
