ImageFor the first time since 2000, Damon Albarn reunited with erstwhile Blur (pictured) guitarist Graham Coxon for a rendition of Parklife’s This Is A Low at last week’s NME Awards in London, proving to ticketholders of the July Blur reunion shows that they aren’t being scammed. Remaining Blur members Alex James and Dave Rowntree were also in attendance, but did not perform (they arrived late!).

Largely predictable winners at the ceremony included Oasis (Best Band, pictured, although the presence of Blur did result in some Britpop-inspired crowd booing of the hairy Mancs), Muse (Best Live Band, Best Album Art, and, mystifyingly, Sexiest Male for ratlike frontman Matt Bellamy), Kings Of Leon (Best Album) and MGMT (Best New Band and Best Track for Time To Pretend).
