Rocket to Memphis lands in Brisbane Saturday PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 13 March 2009

Queen of voodoo, Betty Bombshell, and her stompin' quartet, Rocket to Memphis, have cooked up a brand new platter of knee-tremblin', soul-shakin' swampabilly for your hip-grinding pleasure.

Rocket To Memphis from Perth are touring Australia to launch their first full-length CD on Raucous Records.

The new cd ‘Hip Shakin’ Voodoo’, with an eye-popping cover by the multi-talented Vince Ray, contains 13 wickedly infectious tunes.

If you aint shakin’ all over after a dose of this, forget the witchdoctor - there aint no hope for ya!

Be sure to see this voodoo whirlwind when they hit town, this coming Saturday, March 14, at The Troubadour.

Joining in the shakedown at the Troubadour will be Warren Earl & The Atomic Rockers, Paulie & His Crazy Rhythm Boys, DJ Lori Lee and a special performance by Red Devotchkin.

Entry is just $15 (plus b/f) and tickets are on sale now.
