Brooklyn trio Vivian Girls (pictured) combine ‘60s girl-group vocals, fuzzy garage rock, punk and post-punk with blasts of shoegaze and skuzzy DIY charm’. Phew. We’re happy to report that they do it rather well too, according to Tiny Robot Monkey’s Susan Milanovic who saw them in Brooklyn last week. In the meantime, grab a ticket to their show happening at The Step Inn on Friday Oct 2. Tickets are at regular outlets and OzTix Friday Jul 10. Word on the street is Feathers will be supporting … but that’s just what we hear.
