- To celebrate the release of his latest single Sweep, Brisbane singer-songwriter John Meyer is playing a show at The Troubadour on Friday Jul 24 alongside The Soundcasters, Claire Whiting and Kristian James & The Rouge.
- Garage rock takes over the Gabba’s Clarence Corner Hotel Friday Jul 24 as The Stinkbugs come off hiatus to join The Boobytraps and Lobster Prophet. It’s free!

- As part of the Queensland Music Festival, be sure to check out Presidentsland on Wednesday Jul 29 at Brisbane City Hall, where a group of diverse and distinctly Australian performers – including jazz maestro Paul Grabowsky, speechwriter Don Watson, pianist Erik Griswold, poet Rodney Hall, former Saints guitarist Ed Kuepper and novelist Venero Armanno – will present their ideas and visions of Queensland’s future.
