Opening in cinemas Thursday, The Vampire’s Assistant is a new movie based on the Saga Of Darren Shan books, which are also written by Darren Shan, but presumably not the same Darren Shan who unwittingly breaks a 200-year-old truce between two clans of vampires thus kicking off the story.
