Want to drum up some interest in the ARIA Awards? Announce Robbie Williams (pictured) as a guest! The one-time Take That star and solo performer has in recent times come perilously close to earning the description ‘washed up’, but has a new album on the way – Reality Killed The Video Star (oh, that’s clever…) – and is set to entertain the usual gaggle of musicians and hangers-on at the Acer Arena-held ARIAs on Thursday Nov 26. Williams has also indicated that he may yet rejoin Take That for reunion shows, but only when the failure of his 2006 effort Rudebox has been eclipsed (he hopes) by his November-scheduled newie. Good luck champ – the pies love you no matter what.
