U2 (pictured) may play here in summer, according to an Ireland newspaper on the weekend. Them Crooked Vultures – the new supergroup with Josh Homme, Dave Grohl and Zep’s John Paul Jones – are set to announce Oz dates this week. Ne-Yo abandoned plans to be here in November for Hoopdreamz after another promoter put in a rival bid.
Meantime, Paul McCartney, Metallica, John Mayer, Taylor Swift, The Eagles, Judas Priest, Aerosmith, Dolly Parton and Hannah Montana are tipped to tour next year. Big Day Out rumours include Muse, Groove Armada, Blink 182, Calvin Harris and Dizzee Rascal. And Lauryn Hill for Raggamuffin?
