Gold Coast funk n reggae explosion, Anarchist Duck bring another Duck on board for their CD launch tour in the form of Jake O'Brien, the enigmatic trumpet and bass player of Gold Coast's roots outfit Black Market Rhythm Co. The Ducks packed out The Loft on the Gold Coast, transforming it into dancing mayhem for the first CD launch show for their debut, full-length album 'Propaganda'. They have since secured a residency at The Chalk Hotel (Fretfest: Thursday nights) and are warming up for Funk'n Soul'd Out, a huge night of funk and soul at The Globe on September 27. They will play there with local outfits The Handlebars and Funky Junk Music Club. Anarchist Duck's national tour kicks off with another CD launch show at The JOYnt in Brisbane on October 9, followed by a string of shows down the east coast of NSW and into Melbourne.
