After a successful CD launch event in July, the Eidecan Committee is getting ready for the next big thing on the calendar, the heats of the 2009 Eidecan Battle of the Bands.

The Battle of the Bands heats will be held on the 24^th and 31^st of October, on the lawn in front of the Myer entrance of Grand Central, Toowoomba. There are two catagories, solo/acoustic acts and bands. To be eligible to enter the Battle of the Bands, the majority of members from each act must be under the age of 25, and the majority of songs performed must be originals.

Entry forms can be foud on the Eidecan Website- www.eidecan.com.au . Or you can pick one up from Golder’s Clothing store, or Royce Music House. Entries close on FRIDAY 12^th OCTOBER at 5pm

The finals of the 2009 Battle of the Bands will be held at the Eidecan Youth Festival on Saturday 5^th December at The Powerhouse, Neil St. Toowoomba.
