WEDNESDAY IS NOW LADIES NIGHT WITH THE VAGINABILLIES Brisbanes greatest Calypso country psychedelic ensemble have been given a wednesday night residency in front bar of the Step Inn. It will be running for five weeks starting on 18th of November. Each show will feature The Vaginabillies with a different girl band each week and the wonderful WAYNE KEYS will act as compere and master of ceremonys. There will be chook raffles and givaways thanks to Trash Video and Turkeyneck Records, cheap hand shandies. Between sets there will be VaginaTrivia with prizes including VHS romantic comedys, a fully paid date with the Vaginabillies most handsome chap Richie B and a professional Hollywood makeover from the lovely Coral Outcrop. The procedings will begin at 7:30 and it's free for lovers only. Come along for Passion Pop and good times. Each week will be a unique ladies lounge night expirience with a different genre covered by those magnificent bastards the Vaginabillies. PUNK ROCK November 18th will feature those lovable punk rock scamps The Pretty Boys ROCK N ROLL November 25th will feature the adorable grunge rock queens of the Legions of Mary AVANT GUARD Decmber 2nd will feature the uber grouse stylings of ghostboy with golden virtues COUNTRY Decmber 9th will feature the glamorous Girls of Country Sue Ray Victoria Watson and friends GARAGE Decmber 16th will feature the sexy garage rock monolith that is the Bertie Page Clinic
