Ulcerate's second full-length album "Everything is Fire" further refines and expands their work on 2007's 'Of Fracture and Failure'. Punishing, churning dissonance mixed with their trademarked sense of melody and textured rhythm work, coupled with a greater foray into mood and atmosphere. An entirely bleaker effort than anything ever realised by the band, guitar lines swirl and evolve into one another, percussive patterns work in and around the melody lines while the band further develops the linear style of writing they've come to be known for. Frantic, desolate and emotive, 'Everything is Fire' straddles the divide between pure chaotic density and raw, natural tones, marking a breath of fresh air in the climate of over-produced, stagnant and clinical metal.

Beyond Terror Beyond Grace began in 2004 with only one thing in mind which was to devastate audiences with an inhuman sonic assault in the vein of Nasum, Rotten Sound, Converge and Napalm Death. Fast forward to 2009 having played countless shows across Australia and New Zealand in support of their debut album Extinction|Salvation, the band is ready to release their new album Our Ashes Built Mountains which retains that original intent but combines it with an ambition and adventurousness that is unparalleled in the grindcore genre. A blackened amalgamation of warp speed blastbeats, vicious riffs, unrelenting screams, harsh soundscapes, ambience and featuring guest appearances by members of some of Australia's best extreme bands, Our Ashes Built Mountains makes for intense, unsettling and rewarding listening that will surprise many.
