THE BRUNSWICKS' DEBUT ALBUM SET FOR MARCH RELEASE PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 19 January 2010
Recording a debut album can be an arduous business. Just ask Brisbane pop/rock outfit, The Brunswicks.

After many months working in collaboration with producer Neil Coombe in the renowned White Room Studio, the band has, at last, emerged with its first long-player, Otherwise Forever

Slated for release in mid-March, the CD is a testimony to The Brunswicks’ dedication and passion for their craft.

“We aim to create music that is powerful and emotive,“ explains lead singer Rebekah Davis. “Music that demonstrates the diversity of our influences as well as highlight our capacity to create something unique and timeless.”

The result is a stunning soundscape of soaring melodies, infectious rhythms and uplifting guitar lines.

Lyrically, the content of the album tends to be introspective, addressing themes such as isolation, alienation, belief and commitment.

“It’s important to us that our audience connects with the words and that they find real meaning and substance in them.”

A string of impressive performances in 2009 saw The Brunswicks earn a loyal live following and they are set to win more fans over in the coming year.
